Paediatric Neurology GRID training in the UK is a specialised program for Paediatric doctors who want to further subspecialise as Paediatric Neurologists. It is a highly competitive program, lasting between 3 and 4 years and includes opportunities for clinical and research education.

I completed Level 1 & 2 paediatric training in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Craigavon and Derry/Londonderry) with placements in paediatric neurology, paediatric neurodisability, community paediatrics, paediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care and general paediatrics.

I completed my Foundation Training in Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry and the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. I undertook a year post foundation training in Emergency Medicine in Craigavon Area Hospital.

I studied medicine at the Queens University of Belfast. I undertook an intercalated degree in anatomy.

I am originally from Northern Ireland having moved to Leeds to complete sub-specialist Paediatric Neurology Grid training in 2019. I originally anticipated moving back to Northern Ireland after completing training but have now made my home in Yorkshire and in Leeds Children's Hospital.

I am a keen cyclist, amateur chef, avid comic book reader and Disney nerd.
